The first series of drawings has to do with simple rituals celebrating woman's connection to the earth. Each drawing depicts a young woman engaged in some kind of ceremonial gesture in her yard, either with feathers, rocks or in the above image, pomegranates. The second series done in the same scale and style depicts children playing innocently in nature, but re-enacting rituals and behaviors that refer to archetypal stories such as the expulsion from the Garden of Eden.
